•               The mode of operation of the star based Ethernet networks based on Hubs, Switches and UTP cables.
•               The mode of operation of the achievement of the Ethernet nets in star and in hybrid topologies.
•               The performances and admissible lengths of the Ethernet star cables and rules for cabling.
•               The achievement of hybrid topologies.
•               The use of Hubs and of Switches.
